The Northern Lights

There had been some "chatter" online regarding the possibilty of a "Northern Light" display due to some good old Solar Activity and since the weather was favourable, I decided to head out to a spot that I had captured them - Before!!

I was wrapped up well and bumped into another photographer who had the same idea so we spent a good wee while capturing what we could.

The image was not as good as some I've seen from the early hours of Sunday morning but it was still great to get something!!
