Sunday: €€ .. Euros .. €€

Heavy rain woke me just before 7 this morning but it was gone by breakfast time.
Decided to drive to Lidl for groceries (and for a few “Treats” for my little neighbours) … it was reasonably quiet and shopping got done quickly.
Before setting off I’d been searching everywhere for a pound coin for the supermarket trolley, having used most of my small change at car parks recently - then I remembered that the “1 Euro” can be used in our local supermarket trolleys, these will stay in my coat pocket - must be careful NOT to put them in the car park machines!
I put baked potatoes in the oven for tea, made red cabbage coleslaw too and an assortment of other bits’n’bobs …
Heavy rain again this evening.
