After Bonfire

One of the many admirable things about the Newick Bonfire Society is the eagerness with which its members turn out early on 'the morning after' to collectively clear away all the debris from 'the night before'. This year was no exception - they assiduously turned out in the pouring rain to complete the task.

Flammable items are cast onto the embers of the bonfire from the previous evening.

This picture, taken shortly after 3pm, shows the final flames of the 2021 bonfire after all has been tidied up and cleared away.
