Hayle and hearty
We went for a very pleasant walk today from St Ives through woodland up to Knill's monument, for good views across St Ives Bay. Then we descended a little and walked to the promontory of Carrack Gladden, before returning on the coast path to Carbis Bay and back into St Ives.
The photo is taken from the promontory, looking across the bay towards Hayle.
The weather turned out better than forecast with fairly light winds and only a couple of sharp showers.
