It's not meant to look like that!

Well it looks mostly right and it smells lovely but the hole in the middle is not part of the recipe! It definitely didn't look like that when it came out of the oven. Never mind. It's been a day to do as I pleased. Up early - out of choice, not necessity; a trip into town and then a bit of Easter-themed baking. And tonight I'm going to see 'The Furnace', a mix of folk music and morris dancing - should be interesting!
