Hearken ye!

Forgive me for a terrible pun on the plant name 'Hakea' - which I, as a kiwi, pronouce as 'har-kee-a' not 'hay-kee-a'. But however we may say it, the hakeas are busting out all over around here. Don't remember seeing so many, so tall (c.3m), so laden with flowers. The white flowers are fairly inconspicuous in themselves but make a great display clustered close along the stems - an effect like white fingers!
