Getting a suntan

Not sure why an all black dog would prefer to lie in the sun (and pant), but Riley does even in the middle of summer. Her fur gets too hot to touch... but she loves it.

Today it's sunny and, even though we still have loads of snow on the ground, it feels warm. We are all enjoying the sun like we've never seen it before. Riley has been on the deck like this for hours. She was even so sleepy, from the warmth, that she let me take a few shots! It didn't take too long for her to have had enough though... She moved to the patio, below the deck, to get away from my insufferable camera. Then lay down to work on her tan a bit longer.

Still working with Apple today... We can't seem to figure out what is wrong. I've moved from anger to depression over this issue... Yuck.

Maybe I should go sit in the sun too. You still need a jacket, but it does feel good ! :-)
