Gulp!

It was the last morning of 8am starts at Trentham Gardens but I delayed my arrival as it was tipping it down.

I was all set up to have a morning of fungi photography and then realised I'd forgot my platypod tripod!! Well, I carried on with just handheld shots. There were so many different species. Phew! I'm a bit fungi fatigued now. I have sneaked in one more Fly Agaric in extras.

But it was the Great Crested Grebes still feeding their young that really caught my attention. I was so sure this was never going to go down but it did.
