Hello?

Anybody in there? • It was wonderful to wake up to sunshine today and although a bit too blustery the wind is helping to dry everything out after two days of heavy rain • We’re outside today to continue checking off our end of season to-do list. One of the items was removing the morning glories from the fence. They’re annuals so everything must go. It’s always amazing to see how tangled the vines are and the many buds still ready to open. They’re so hearty! It will take awhile to get used to a bare fence after admiring so many beautiful blooms these past few months. All good things come to an end, but so much to look forward to too! • When hauling garden debris to a trench at the edge of the property I noticed this hole, suddenly revealed by so many leaf vacancies. I watched for a few moments to see if anyone was home but all seemed quiet. It’s a spot I’ll be sure to check in on again • Time to get myself back outside.
