Young Sparrow

This young sparrow spends quite a bit of time in my garden .... in the bushes, on the shed roof or topping up his food reserves at the bird feeder. He sat on the shed roof for so long today that I thought he was injured and unable to fly but all was well.

Having said my farewells to Fouter last night this morning the washing machine was put to good use washing the the rather grubby throw from the settee and the mucky towels which covered the back seat of the car. Too many rainy days last week when not only the dog got rather wet and dirty.
