View From a Window
This was the view from my bedroom at my son’s when I opened the blind this morning. So totally different from yesterday it was hard to believe.
The rain finally stopped at 6.30am and by 8.30 there was a beautiful blue sky.
My grandchildren got dressed up and went guising last evening. My daughter-in-law took them down to the village and to their friends houses. They returned with bags of booty and huge smiles on their faces. I told them about all the different costumes their dad and uncles wore when they went guising. I’m glad I was there to see them so happy carrying on traditions. With enough sweets to open a sweetie shop.
A bit different from monkey nuts and tangerines.
