Went to Derwent Water this morning, haven't been there for a while.  I'm so glad I put my wellies on as the lake is over the footpath.  Gave up in the end as it was a good couple of feet high ... to the top of Misty's legs as per postcard in extras.  Walked in Manesty Woods and then when the sun came out walked along Catbells Terrace.  Oh and it didn't rain!
