Second half of term

Today we left our rental home after three months. Tonight we are “camping” in our new home ahead of all our our belongings arriving first thing tomorrow , hopefully!

It goes without saying that we are very much looking forward to unpacking and settling in after four months “ on the road”. We have stayed in six different locations since leaving Edinburgh on 9th July.

This afternoon I picked up the boys from their school. I took this photo at the school gate. Most parents are heeding this sensible advice.

Mask wearing by parents and carers at collection time seems a very sensible reintroduction given the high C19 rates in the Cheltenham area.

COP 26 has begun in Glasgow. Air Force 1 landed at Edinburgh this morning bringing President Biden.

Our Wiltshire son’s travel plans this week have been severely disrupted by the Salisbury train crash
