Phase 1 Day 4. "Every day is a conscious effort, every thing I do is a conscious effort to make the best decision to get to my goals. However, it does take up a lot of mental energy, a lot of mental space but I'd rather use this towards that mental energy I had before this --- that guilt, and that nagging...I don't want to hear that anymore." -Terri Ann
Currently relistening to Jordan Syatt's mini podcast (still my go to podcast during brisk walks) and found what his guest said totally relatable. Completing additional tasks for this phase may seem daunting and overwhelming at times and so what I do is pep talk myself into focusing on doing one thing at a time. I tend to get distracted with ideas or with what I still have to do causing uncalled for anxiety. When this happens, I remind myself of how difficult life was inside a rehabilitation facility where every activity (reading, music, and even exercise) needs to be approved by your doctor.

It's November already meaning I only have a couple of months left to "graduate" this year and mark it as episode free. This might seem like nothing but really it would be a big accomplishment for me because I had to deal with manic-depressive episodes since 2012.
