The Popinjay

The Popinjay is a popular hotel in Rosebank, in the Lanark Valley, right on the River Clyde. Many weddings are held here, and it has lovely garden ground right down to the river, so that if the weather is nice time can be spent out of doors, and also photographs taken there. My daughter's wedding reception was there, and we were well pleased with it. It all seems such a long time ago now though!

A lovely sunny day today, and the temperature got up to 5C in the afternoon. (Just noticed that last year at this time my picture shows a tulip and the temperature in my garden was 22C. We have hardly any daffodiles, never mind tulips, yet this year.)
