Earth

Bought a wireless charger for my phone. It’s made from recycled plastic bottles. On the day that the COP26 summit started, a recycled plastic object that looked like the Earth seemed appropriate.
Of course it was delivered by a van. And was made in Brighton. So has already clocked up hundreds of miles in a diesel vehicle. And I’ll use it to charge my phone which was made from metals dug from the ground.  Charged with renewable/green electricity (at least while at home), but bought on the internet using another computer made from metals and plastics, and a vast array of computing resource that also consumes gigawatts of power every year... It's an almost unsolvable problem - we consume resources in everything we do, and I can't see how we can ever put the genie back into the bottle.
