The peeling paint, even the colour caught my eye - while I was still getting out and about!

Sunday 31st October
143 new cases - 135 in Auckland, 6 in Waikato, 2 in Northland
56 in hospital

Monday 1st November
162 new cases - 156 in Auckland, 5 in Waikato, 1 in Northland
53 in hospital, with 3 in intensive care

Tuesday 2nd November
126 new cases - 107 in Auckland, 18 in Waikato, 1 in Northland
49 in hospital, with 3 in intensive care

From 11.59pm tonight Waikato moves to Alert Level 3 Stage 2 with slightly more relaxed conditions eg Shops will be able to open.
Auckland will move to the same stage of Alert Level 3 in another week.

Breaking News at 5.30pm today.
Two unlinked cases in Kaingaroa, north of Kaitaia, Northland, has prompted a boundary change and an Alert Level change moving the Northern part of Northland from Alert Level 2 to Alert Level 3 at 11.59pm tonight. Northland has a very low vaccination rate and vulnerable communities.
