The Sunken Garden

This is the ‘sunken garden’ outside our back fence. It was designed and established by some enthusiastic former residents, now departed, but they didn’t take into account the need for ongoing maintenance. So these days it’s rather a jungle. It’s also a habitat for wildlife including snakes and probably all sorts of other things we'd rather not know about.

Tomorrow we’re having a meeting to try to work out how to reclaim the garden and make it lower maintenance.
