...slightly bemused by all the strange human behaviour!  Today was Tim's Mum's 80th birthday.  We went over at breakfast time to join everyone (including Tim's other sister who had arrived a little before us), and got started on presents and cards after a much-needed cuppa.  Stan was trying to work out what on earth we were all up to!

Tim's Mum had lots of lovely gifts and cards, and we had a lovely day celebrating with her.  Tim's nephew and sister had baked scones and they did us all an afternoon tea, with fancy sandwiches and scones with jam and cream.  All followed up by birthday cake, of course.

We stayed until just after teatime, then headed back to the hotel for another low-key evening.  Tired out from all the festivities and glad to just relax!
