A Window Cleaner’s Work is Never Done

My plans for this morning were dashed late yesterday evening when I read on the Facebook site for Portobello Wild Swimmers that there was a broken sewage pipe at the Figgate Burn end of the beach and perhaps complications with all the rain over the weekend on the burn at Eastfield. I decided not to risk braving the sea.

With no other plans in place I had a day off and spent the time being totally inactive save for a walk to the happy hunting ground for coffee at Bruntsfield.

The rest of the day was filled with reading and knitting after blipping the men working on top of an enormously high cherry picker cleaning windows of an office in Quartermile. All the straight lines fascinated me.
