Just a glimpse

A disjointed morning resulting from four power cuts in a couple of hours. As soon as I had sorted out the various timers off it went again. No idea of the cause but it put a spanner in the works.

We were just about to go out to collect stuff to take to Waltham Abbey I noticed that there were quite a few items missing from our delivery. At that moment the driver rang to say he he’d forgotten a tray so we had to wait for that to arrive.

It was a brilliant crisp November morning, beautiful calm skies and bright sunshine which lit up this little scene on our way to the shops.

A good journey to Waltham Abbey. A trip to a farm shop and garden centre provided the afternoon’s entertainment rounded off with lemon drizzle cake when we got back.

Awaiting dinner… it smells good. Enjoying our day away from house clearance in good company. Interesting discussions about electric cars.
