A most welcome surprise
I wandered around the garden this morning, photographing whatever colour I could find. There are a few flowers hanging on, including some very loud, feisty nasturtiums.
I turner around the corner of a border and stopped in my tracks to see nerines in bloom. When we moved here, over 20 years ago, there was a large clump of nerines in one border. I split them up and spread the joy around the garden. The only problem was that most did not come again. Occasionally they flower. They gave me a lot of pleasure today.
My hospital appointment was today - but it was a 'phone appointment. A specialist nurse took my details. The very good news is that the investigation I need will be on Friday this week! The bad news is that I have to have a Covid test in the morning and then isolate until after Friday. Could be worse.
Mum and I have just had a bit of a challenge. The stairlift refused to take her downstairs after her evening meal with me. The error number said there was an obstruction, but I could not find one. I switched the system off for a couple of minutes and it worked. Phew! We were both wondering how she was going to walk downstairs without falling.
