A favourite

I look at quite a lot of piles of stones. This is one of my favourites. Not perhaps somethnig to bring the tourists flocknig to the island but I suspect it is evidence of Norwegian tourists flocking here over a thousand years ago. 
I am not sure how the locals might have welcomed the vikings but then again no one really knows. 
Perhaps this was the start of the holiday homes problems that seem to be afflicting various parts of the country at present, Uist not excepted.
