Messing about on the river

Today we drove to Helston where we met my sister who lives close by. Then we drove to the little village of Helford where she took us on a delightful walk along  the south side of the Helford river, as far as Dennis Head, returning  beside Gillan Creek ,through the small  settlements of St Anthony in Meneage and  Manaccan where we visited their historic churches.
The  weather was perfect  throughout  our walk, and the sea was as still as a mill pond.
