A very thick book!

This book is 455 pages. Not my normal reading choice but it is a true story about a woman who was committed to an insane asylum in in 1860 by her husband because he felt “threatened by her intellect, independence and unwillingness to stifle her own thoughts”. It is an amazing story. Men had too much power over their wives back then. Thankfully in most countries today things are not like this.
