The neighbourhood

Dear baby,

Your dad and I took a sunset walk along the beach, past the beach huts, round the lagoon, and up the road our soon-to-be house is, the tide was really far out and despite the cold the sunset was lush. We stopped in a pub on the way back - they have an easter egg hunt there which will be great for you in a few years.

Took a trip to the record store today and came away with three new releases - every year needs its own soundtrack, your first year will be supported in audio by Johnny Marr, The Flaming Lips & Steve Mason to start with :)
