Carlsberg lassie

Not content with one boat, the Ards Man is busy on a new construction.

In sailing circles, a very aspirational yacht is the Hallberg Rassy - we can’t afford one. So the AM has named this kayak his Carlsberg lassie. It is definitely a labour of love and will take some time to create. The outside shell will be crafted around this wooden form and a layer of glass fibre smoothed around the wooden part. The AM has already identified a couple of likely spots on Strangford Lough for the launch!
