The Straining Tower.

A watery sun was the best I could hope for today, it seems, although just 8 miles away at home I'm now sitting in warm sunsunshine. A Victorian gothic architectural masterpiece, the straining tower on Lake Vyrnwy. From here the water is taken by two tunnels all the way to a reservoir near Liverpool.
