Meltdown

The snow hasn't melted much but where it has there are some interesting sights.

The snow and ice is shrinking slowly but hanging on, literally in this case. Further up this track there are still snowdrifts that fill to the wall height and above in places.

The birds seem a bit happier. Lots of Fieldfare about and Curlew calling.
