Went down Poppi market for fish and bits and pieces. Lowering skies and this rainbow over the house on my return.

I don’t much care for the dark evenings.

Following COP26 closely. Listened to a Tom Heap programme about biochar as a climate change mitigation strategy. Basically charcoal making for charcoal that is then sequestered as a soil dressing. Sounds to good to be true but very appealing - there’s a research centre at Edinburgh university.
