COP26

We are catching a bit of the COP26 excitement albeit vicariously.
Rumour has it that the Sri Lankan president is staying at the Dunblane Hydro our local four-star hotel.
And this has brought out the Tamil protesters. 

But what happened to those delegates various friends offered to put up? Well the single woman who offered to take two women found instead she had an African man who said he could not possibly stay alone in a house with a woman. 
Not sure how they resolved that. But he is still there. 
 
And another who offered his spare bed,  found himself taking  two women and a male diplomat , all from Africa.
Well there is nothing like delayed flights, and misunderstandings to melt social barriers.
