Incoming!

These geese were amazing. There is a large pond nearby, which is bisected by a little causeway . I was at one pond blipping some geese wearing identity collars, and noticed that on the other side of the causeway some other geese were craning their very long necks trying to see what I was doing. Not being able to see they decided to come for a closer look. It was very exciting for me-- these are big birds! Anyway, they had a good look on the way by and then landed in the water with a great flourish.
There were about four, but I only caught these two. A big deal for me, I have never caught a bird in flight before .
