Funeral weather

The cliche in films is for it to rain during funerals, as though being wet will make it even sadder or more poignant.

This is my parishioner Joyce making her last journey for a while. We laid her to rest in a soggy cemetery in the pouring rain.

It didn't matter, she still made me smile with her determination and her huge life experience after almost 97 years.
