Well, that's a first !

This is the Alhambra Theatre in Bradford, and Mrs B and I have just returned from it.

Not to see Cats (advertised on the roof) but to see Sleeping Beauty.

A Ballet.

I've been to a Ballet.

Dancers and stuff.

And do you know what ?

It was bloody good. I think I have a greater understanding of the word "graceful"

In this modern day of iPhones and iPads, internet and dvd's, and not to mention tv, it's interesting to see that an art form that has been around for centuries, can still fill a theatre that would make any of today's top artistes very jealous.

So go on, hide your macho side behind the sofa for the evening, and take your missus out to see the ballet. You won't regret it.
