The beach again.
I’m taking advantage of the absence of tourists - at last there is plenty of space in the car park and a big virtually empty beach. It was a really sunny morning but heavy showers appeared in the afternoon.
And today’s news story is that Boris’s recent Spanish holiday was funded by the very rich Zac Goldsmith. Boris made him a peer in 2019 in return for the loadsamoney Zac gave the Tory party in our wonderful democracy. With Boris having had other free holidays, and his flat redecoration being paid for by someone else (plus 30K from the taxpayer,) I wonder why he seems unable to pay for anything himself. Maybe he has more children than we know about and is paying a lot of child maintenance money..
Mr Goldsmith went to Eton, as did Boris. These ex-boarding school boys really look after each other. Have a Google and see how many other ‘leading politicians’ went to boarding school. Zac Goldsmith went to Eton as a boarder, as did Boris. The other dishonest politician who has just resigned went to a different boarding school. But since reading ‘Sad little men’ by Richard Beard, it’s amazing me how many corrupt and lying (and rich) politicians went to boarding schools from the age of 8 or 11. I knew most were privately educated but hadn’t realised the significance of the boarding schools. Boarding from such a young age was such a traumatic experience for most of them that it seems to have created a bond whereby they will really stick together and lie for each other, make them peers etc.
