Living The Dream

Mrs madwill and I had a trip to Ripon today. First stop of the day was at the canal and we walked along the towpath for a couple of miles. The sun was shining (mostly) but the wind was rather on the cool side - I was glad of my new hat, gloves and neck gaiter - as well as the extra (base) layer - for the first time this autumn.

Came across this rather snazzy looking narrowboat moored up along the towpath - love the name, and wonder if they are Living The Dream

Then we went on to Fountains Abbey and after coffee and cake at the Studley Royal tea room we walked to the Abbey (via the high route). The colour in the trees was pretty amazing

I also managed to get a reasonable reflection shot…

Home via supermarket at Boroughbridge, collecting stuff for tea.
