Training

When we got Hector, I undertook to train him to within an inch of his life. For a while it's been nearer a hectare, but he really is getting quite good at some things now. At puppy training this afternoon his sit/stay and recall were excellent, although his walking to heel was a bit hit and miss, and he did spend a bit too much time barking at the nearby cows and turkeys. He’s pictured in one of his more angelic moments.

In other news, I met with the church warden this morning to discuss my proposed community project to survey the churchyard and, I'm very pleased to say, I now have the go-ahead so it's all systems go!
