Late (very) clematis flower.

While we fitted in a good bit of walking today, we didn’t do a whole lot of photographing. However, when we were just coming back to the house this afternoon, we spotted a few extremely late flowers on a clematis just beside our front gate. They must have managed to survive a frost this morning as I needed to scrape the car windows before taking Chloe down the canal.  At that point the car dashboard was showing 1.5C!
Quite a few people got some great Aurora shots last night but we didn’t see a thing. Too much light pollution, I suspect.
