Autumnal Walk

The start of a new chapter, The Wee Pal is now The Retired Wee Pal so mid-week walks will be a feature of this gallery as will other activities

Our first walk meant a relatively early start with the early nights having to be factored in the timings for walks after all it wouldn’t do to be caught out far from the car with no lights. Took the car to Strathyre and parked in the car park near to the cafe that is never open and walked down the length of Loch Lubnaig to the holiday cabins at the other end of the loch and back nearly 20km but a relatively flat walk on easy paths. The weather was kind, no hint of rain, a bit of a chill wind but the sun was out and we got back to the car in the early gloaming so it was a grand day out hopefully the first of many.

The main image was taken looking down Loch Lubnaig on the way out and the extra was taken on the way back and could easily be named 50 shades of brown and green.
