Twirling

It's been awhile since I twirled an image so I thought I'd do one for Abstract Thursday, no theme this week. Thanks to Ingeborg for hosting AT. I took a photo of a colourful outfit on the ferry for this one.
We lucked out with the ferry this morning. We had a reservation on the 1pm to the mainland. When I checked the website at 7:30am, the 11am had less than 20% space available and the 1pm had about the same. We'd originally hoped that we'd make the 11, but when I saw the space available, I reckoned that it would be the 1. We left home just after 8:30 to make sure that we'd make the Fulford ferry because it's been so busy. No problem. We did the turnaround to the mainland ferry and got the the ticket booth around 10:50. G told the agent that we had a reservation on the 1, and she said it was a good thing because it was now booked solid. She said that the Fulford ferry often runs late and told us the lane to go into. We drove down the lane, wondering why the cars in front of us were loading, and expected the guy to stop us. No - we drove right on to the 11!  What a treat! We wondered if the ticket agent had sent us into the wrong line or if she'd decided to let us on because we'd come from SS and had a reservation on the next one. Whatever the reason, we were delighted! People who rely on ferries will understand why!
We arrived at Renata and James' house just before 2, a couple of hours earlier than expected. Great to be here!  Looking forward to watching the game live with family tonight!
