Journey Through Time

Bursting Forth

Spring is saying, "Hello, here I am!" in our corner of the world. Across the street from me, these two trees, a magnolia and something else (cherry, plum?) is screaming SPRING and they are so pretty. It's quite warm outside and it's going to be just beautiful for the next 4 days or so. Our other neighbor's flowering Pear trees are full of blooms...overnight it seems.

Got my hair cut, checked out the new library at the mall..gosh, it is really pretty and I am so glad they are back in business. It's small, but popular because it's handy and it's always busy. It's the place where I pick up the books I have put on hold from their website. That's the best feature EVER!!

My auntie will come over tomorrow, after we run a couple of errands for her. Son will join us for an early Easter gathering, as he works on Sunday and it's better for him. Bill will work both days. Odd, but that's the way it is for now. It's just us, a small family...and I am NOT fixing a big fancy dinner.....so since the weather is going to be so lovely, we are hauling out the barbecue and we can do burgers and potato salad and such like that. Works for me.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend....and for those that celebrate Easter, have a great time with your family.

See ya

PS I forgot to tell you. Our garage door opener decided not to work today. After Bill got home he found his paperwork and we wrote the check for the new one we got last year on March 28th. It has a year warranty. Do you suppose he will fix it on the warranty since it is only a day after it expired...or are we up a creek without a garage door opener?
