The sun shone with all his might

Salaam to the sun today. The first in weeks when the temperature has been as high as 5C at sunrise.

Car wouldn't start today. No strength in the battery - I really should change it but feel that since I did that last year it isn't the right time this year. So I had to go wine shopping on my motorbike and figure out how to stow 12 bottles; well the panniers took quite a load and we got home with no losses. Waiting to pay at Sainsburys with my bottles jostling and chinking along on the rolling mat one piece of cheese balancing on top. The person next me loading up loaves of bread, pots of yoghurt, nutella, vegs etc sighed and said how much she would prefer my Easter fare...

I took this shot of the disused Lots road power station by Chelsea creek while walking to the cinema with J&D and C and their families; eight of us. We went to see Trance - a totally puzzling psycho-drama by Danny Boyle; often not sure whether the scene was the actor's reality or a dream; but absorbing and entertaining. Left the cinema wondering who is the real villain...
