Woodland Sunburst

Another day another woodland shot. A cold day but when the sun shines it's still rather lovely. Thank you all for you kind comments and sympathy on my selfie shot yesterday; it was great fun and I may dare more later.

The nights are drawing in here, and I'm seeing a growing number of reported burglaries and attempted entries in and around the village. The most recent one involved three men who, when challenged by the house owner, took up one of his garden spades and threatened him with it!

Crime was almost unheard of here, twenty years ago. Hey ho. Happily it's still a very peaceful village, but maybe no longer one to leave doors or windows open any more, nor leave garden tools lying around...
