Never a dull moment!

The peaceful scene from our afternoon walk belies the dramas of the morning.

First Leo lashed out with his claws while I was brushing him, drawing copious amounts of blood from my thumb.

Later, on checking Pookie's whereabouts, I discovered Corky, the 'stray' from down the lane, hiding under P's bed! I tried to shoo him out, but even with Minty barking at him, he refused to budge, hissing at the pair of us. He was obviously terrified! Eventually, with Minty shut out of the way and the front door left open as his escape route, I managed to shoo him out gently from under the bed with a broom.

As if that wasn't enough excitement, there was a kerfuffle outside involving Pookie and our two Border terrier neighbours, resulting in one of the dogs eating Pookie's tuna breakfast with her pill hidden inside!

All that stress before coffee time! I'm hoping for a quieter weekend, blipmates.
