The Current Mrs Creel Heads Home

Time stood still today.  I was in an online chat with HMRC.  It claims the Hoy Kirk has not paid its corporation tax for 2017 – income for the year was about £1,200.  I remained remarkably calm; until the representative asked me if I thought the Friends of the Hoy Kirk would be lodging an appeal.  I resisted all temptation to tell them I am currently in the Cayman Islands courtesy of the Hoy Kirk slush fund.
The only possible antidote was to go out and plant three Echinops – which I did.
I am obviously beginning to take things too seriously so tonight I’ll have to look out my Pinky and Perky Annual. 
The extra indicates that I said goodbye to three friends today.
