Gavin's Mill
I took my 4 year old grandson shopping in Milngavie this morning. We were shopping for Grandpa's birthday but first we went to some charity shops to check out the toys as he had some birthday money left. This took a while but he is now the proud owner of a REALLY NOISY toy which shoots balls in the air. His father's comment was on the lines of "it's amazing how soon the batteries run out." We chose a slightly less noisy toy train for his little brother.
This shot is at Gavin's Mill which is is a popular fair trade / zero waste shop, which sells a great selection of things suitable for a grandpa.
After lunch we made chocolate crispy cakes. Then we planted some pansies and daffodil bulbs and collected a big tub of cones from our giant spruce trees. He worked hard and was a real help.
