Strings attached...

I decided to cheer myself up by buying a new tennis racket for the first time in almost twenty years. I have to say it was eye-wateringly expensive but it just feels right and I'll probably not need another for at least twenty more years. For the first time ever I purchased a frame without factory stringing and so had to wait a day to pick it up while the shop put in some very sophisticated and rather eye catching strings - different mains and crosses, don't you know! It probably won't make any difference to my play, which has been dreadful of late, but at least it looks pretty! Extra is obviously of the full article.
