A touch of purple

On this hydrangea in my sons yard. I thought I remembered the blooms being blue but now they are dying and apparently changing color. Still a beautiful plant with all the flower heads showing this color.

Another cold, gloomy day here but I did manage to get a couple of miles walking at the river trail. There was hardly any color so I was a little disappointed.

Got the last of the packing list done. I make a list so I don’t forget those last minute things. We will leave here on Sunday morning. I checked the weather forecast for the trip west and so far it is sunshine all the way to Colorado except it will be on the cold side.
