early morning Moon shot

I'm up early again, I find it one of the advantages of getting older. Not in a Thatcher the snatcher sort of way, but it does mean I can get things done earlier int he day.

I stepped out of doors to see if it would be possible to hang the washing out yet (I'll wait until the temp is above freezing) and saw this waning moon. I hope you will agree that it was worth photographing.

I've just seen this amazing blip. My shot was taken with a Fujifill S8500 at 46 times zoom , auto exposure and with minimal cropping.
