I went with (big) Jim to Cathy Stephens jewellery shop in Groby today as he was looking to buy Kathy a Christmas present. He bought her a gorgeous silver brooch - she’s into brooches at the moment. It had been hand-made by Cathy and she came out to see him and to thank him for choosing one of her designs. I had a look around - all very expensive and all very lovely. When Kathy was 21 we had a piece made for her - a silver aeroplane on a silver chain. She’d just got her pilot’s licence and we thought it was just right for her 21st. We had it engraved and she loved it.
